Victor was arrested before the divorce ruling.
Charges included fraud, forgery, identity theft, financial exploitation, unlawful restraint, evidence fabrication, and conspiracy.
The porch assault became a smaller charge compared with everything else.
But the video mattered.
It showed the moment control failed in public.
Victor had counted on privacy.
Inside the house, he could reinterpret anything.
A bruise became clumsiness.
A locked door became protection.
A missing password became convenience.
On the porch, witnesses saw the sequence.
Demand.
Lunge.

Grab.

The neighborhood family who recorded it testified.
The father said:
“I had heard arguments before. I told myself it was private.”
The mother said:
“I saw Margaret stop coming outside.”
Their teenage son said:
“I started recording because Mr. Sloan looked like he wanted to hurt someone.”
Each statement carried the weight of delayed recognition.
At sentencing, Victor blamed Lena.
“You destroyed my family.”
Lena stood beside Margaret.
The judge answered before she could.
“No. Your family became evidence.”
Victor received twenty-six years.
The forged deed was voided.
The home-equity loan was canceled.
The bank created a restitution fund.
The physician lost his license.
Elaine received probation for cooperation.
Victor’s brother was charged separately.
The divorce was granted.
Margaret kept the house.
