Chapter 10 - The Ultimate Justice

The absolute destruction of Camille Whitmore and her toxic, manipulative family was incredibly swift, brutal, and entirely uncompromising.
"The engagement is permanently over. The alliance is completely severed," James declared, his powerful voice echoing through the silent ballroom with devastating finality. He turned to his heavily armed enforcers standing in the shadows. "Throw her out into the street exactly as she is. Strip her family of all syndicate protection, freeze their accounts, and prepare the men for a hostile takeover. By midnight, her father's empire belongs to me."
Camille was violently dragged out of the luxury gala, screaming, crying, and completely humiliated in front of the entire city's elite, her dreams of ultimate wealth and power permanently, violently erased.
With the monster finally removed, James turned his back on the chaotic crowd. He looked down at Elena, who was still kneeling on the marble stairs, weeping silently while holding their daughter.
The terrifying, cold mafia boss completely vanished.
James dropped back down to his knees, completely ignoring his expensive black suit. He reached out with trembling, powerful hands, pulling Elena and the little girl in the patched yellow dress fiercely against his chest in a desperate, overwhelmingly emotional embrace. For the first time in eight agonizing years, his shattered heart was completely, beautifully whole again.
Elena did not return to the service corridors. James immediately stripped away her black-and-white maid uniform, officially recognizing her as his true queen and elevating her to the absolute highest, most fiercely protected echelons of the syndicate's inner circle.
One week later, the terrifying drawing room of the mansion was completely transformed.
James Castalano, the most feared man in the city, sat on the floor of his luxury office, smiling warmly as seven-year-old Lucia twirled happily in a breathtaking, custom-made princess dress. Elena stood nearby, wearing beautiful, comfortable clothes, watching her family finally thrive in the light.
