Chapter 22 - THE MEDALLION RETURNS
When Lily became pregnant, she brought Daniel’s silver medallion to Sarah.
Sarah refused to let urgency become an excuse for assumption. Every claim was separated from every fact, and every fact was placed back into sequence before anyone acted.
Daniel accepted that the gift carried love and violation together.

Lily removed the data key permanently and melted the silver into three plain circles: one for herself, one for Sarah, and one unfinished piece for the child.
