The sealed USB Detective Cole brought into the garage was not the only copy.
A second drive existed inside the security camera housing.
Thomas had forgotten the camera system stored emergency audio separately.
Technicians recovered years of clips.
Not continuous video.
Motion-triggered fragments.
Thomas arguing with Daniel.
Threatening Helen.
Discussing payments.
Telling Julia to destroy invoices.
One clip captured him speaking to Dr. Price.
“If Rebecca resists, we make the breakdown public.”
Price asked, “What if she has evidence?”
Thomas answered, “Then we make evidence part of the delusion.”
That sentence became central.
Abuse did not only deny truth.
It tried to redefine truth as illness.
The same tactic appeared in family court, workplaces, and medical records.
Rebecca’s cracked phone captured Thomas searching for the USB.
The garage camera captured why.
The two devices completed each other.
Physical evidence and motive.
Cole said, “He lost because he believed breaking the object broke the record.”
Rebecca looked at the phone.
For years, Thomas treated people the same way.
Break confidence.
Break relationships.
Break credibility.
