Chapter 6 - The Rulebook Project

A year later, Claire founded The Rulebook Project.

It provided emergency recording devices, legal planning, self-defense training, and safe exit strategies for women entering high-control marriages or relationships.

Its first campaign used a simple line:

A private threat becomes survivable when the truth has witnesses.

Claire kept the actual rulebook locked in an evidence archive.

She did not display it.

She did not want women coming to see Adrian’s cruelty like a museum piece.

Instead, she displayed blank notebooks at every workshop.

On the first page of each, participants wrote their own rules.

I keep my own phone.

I control my own money.

I can leave any room.

I do not negotiate with threats.

My body is mine.

May you like

Claire wrote the same sentence in hers every time:

I will never confuse fear with obedience again.
