Chapter 5 - The Public Humiliation

The cinematic realism of the suffocating, paralyzing tension gripped the luxurious backyard. The wealthy guests completely froze, staring in absolute shock at the towering, terrifying man who had just crashed the elite party.
David, trying to maintain his arrogant, wealthy persona, aggressively stepped forward.
"Listen to me, buddy," David sneered, pointing a finger directly at Jason’s chest. "You have exactly ten seconds to get off my property before I call the cops and have you arrested for trespassing!"
Jason didn't flinch. He didn't even look at David. He looked directly at his ex-wife.
"It isn't your property, David," Jason stated clinically, his deep voice carrying flawlessly across the dead-silent patio. "Because you paid the massive mortgage with stolen funds."
Sarah let out a horrific, high-pitched gasp. "You're insane! I don't know what you're talking about!"
Jason calmly unclasped his leather briefcase. He didn't hand the documents to Sarah in private. He aggressively tossed a massive stack of heavily highlighted financial audits directly onto the catered food table, scattering them for every single wealthy guest to see.
"For three years, I sent five thousand dollars every single month to support my daughter," Jason announced flawlessly, his voice booming with absolute, unquestionable authority. "You told the family court she was in a private academy. You told them she had elite medical care."
The wealthy guests looked down at the financial documents, their eyes widening in sheer, unfiltered horror.
"But you never spent a single cent on her," Jason continued ruthlessly, stepping closer to his trembling ex-wife. "You used my child support to lease his sports car. You used it for your designer dresses. You used it to pay for your Botox."
