People who later heard story always asked: “What was on boarding pass?” Savannah. Simple.
No offshore bank. No secret island. No billionaire meeting.
Just Savannah. Aunt. Boxes.
Documents. Truth. That was why Julian panicked.
He knew destination connected me to person he had spent years discrediting. Then what if boarding pass had been Denver? Maybe marriage lasted longer.
Maybe sale closed. Maybe trust challenged later. Maybe I eventually learned.
No need speculate. Then I kept original boarding pass. For years.
In Dad’s box. One day I threw it away. Aaron asked: “Are you sure?”
