Chapter 6 - The Banishment

"Dante, I beg of you! Hide me! They will kill me!" Sophia sobbed hysterically, clawing at the black glossy floor, desperately trying to crawl toward his polished black shoes.
"You stopped being my concern the second you put a tracker in my pocket," Dante replied quietly, entirely immune to her fake tears.
He looked at his massive, suited enforcers.
"Strip her," Dante commanded coldly.
The guards stepped forward. They violently ripped the blinding diamond necklace from Sophia’s throat. They confiscated her designer clutch, her phone, and her expensive diamond engagement ring. They completely stripped her of her high-society armor, leaving her entirely defenseless.
"Throw her out the service entrance," Dante ordered, his voice echoing with absolute, titanium authority. "Drive her to the cartel's territory on the south side. Leave her on the curb. Let the wolves handle the thief."
"No! Dante! You can't do this to me!" Sophia screamed, thrashing wildly as the guards violently hauled her to her feet.
They dragged the weeping, humiliated socialite backward out of the grand luxury room. Her desperate, pathetic cries echoed down the long hallway until the heavy steel doors slammed shut, permanently swallowing her toxic existence into violent ruin.
The threat was entirely neutralized. The empire was secure.
