Chapter 8 - The Financial Execution

Gabriel stared down at the weeping, pathetic man who had just tried to murder his own mother.

"You blew up a dance studio," Gabriel said softly, completely devoid of human mercy. "That was very rude."

"I'm your uncle!" Marcus sobbed, trying to appeal to a family bond he had completely destroyed. "We share the same blood! You can't kill me!"

"I'm not going to kill you, Marcus," Gabriel replied smoothly.

He signaled to his lead hacker, who was holding a glowing tablet.

"While you were busy shooting at empty windows," Gabriel explained, his voice projecting clearly over the quiet street, "Claire’s extraction network completely bypassed your secure servers. We seized your offshore accounts. We liquidated your shell companies. The ten million dollars you owed the New York families is completely gone. And they already know you failed the hit."

All the color violently drained from Marcus’s face. He physically staggered, his knees completely giving out.

"No..." Marcus gasped, pure, unadulterated terror paralyzing him. "Without the money, they'll torture me..."

"Exactly," Gabriel smiled coldly. "You are completely bankrupt, and you are entirely useless to them."

Gabriel turned to his massive guards.

"Strip him of his suit, his watch, and his phone," Gabriel commanded. "Dump him directly on the front steps of the New York cartel headquarters. Let them handle their bad investment."

"No! Please! Gabriel!" Marcus shrieked, thrashing wildly as four massive guards violently dragged him away into the dark night. His pathetic cries faded, completely swallowed by his own devastating ruin.

👉 The traitor was banished to hell, leaving Gabriel to turn his attention back to the woman who had saved his empire.
