Chapter 7 - The Digital Guillotine

Matteo slid the heavy legal contract across the desk, tossing a gold pen on top of it. He genuinely believed his leverage made him untouchable.

I looked at the contract. Then, I looked up at the traitor.

A cold, demonic smile slowly spread across my face.

“You really think you're the smartest man in the room, don't you?” I whispered.

I didn't pick up the pen. Instead, I pulled my smartphone from my jacket pocket and tossed it onto the desk. A live video feed was playing on the screen.

Matteo frowned, leaning forward to look at the video.

The screen displayed Matteo’s private, highly secured estate. But it wasn't quiet. Dozens of federal agents and my own heavily armed syndicate enforcers were currently ripping his mansion apart.

“While you were driving here to sell my daughter,” I stated smoothly, “my cyber-team hacked the GPS on your encrypted phone. We bypassed your security grid. We found the offshore accounts containing Alina’s fifty million dollars, and we instantly froze every single asset tied to your name.”

Matteo’s jaw physically dropped. He grabbed the phone, staring in absolute, suffocating horror as his entire illegal empire was vaporized in high-definition.

“And that's not all,” I added softly.

Nico pushed one of Matteo’s disarmed guards forward. The man was trembling violently, entirely broken.

“Your driver didn't want to die today, Matteo,” I explained. “He already gave us the exact coordinates to the basement where you’re keeping my wife.”

👉 Matteo realized he had absolutely zero leverage left, and the executioner officially stepped forward to collect his debt.
