Chapter 6 - The Apex Predator

Vincent didn't dial 911. The police had failed him for three years, writing off his wife's disappearance as a tragic accident. He wasn't going to trust them with her rescue now.
He dialed his Head of Security, a massive, fiercely loyal enforcer named Marcus.
"Marcus," Vincent commanded, his voice echoing with absolute, unquestionable authority. "Lock down this mansion. No one leaves. Detain Isabella and Grace in the basement vault. And mobilize the entire tactical team. We are going to the South Side shipping docks."
"Yes, Boss," Marcus replied instantly over the line.
Within exactly two minutes, heavy boots stormed down the marble hallway. Four massive corporate security guards in tactical gear burst into the grand office.
"Get your hands off me!" Isabella shrieked hysterically as two guards violently grabbed her arms, dragging her out of the armchair. "I am going to be your boss's wife! You can't do this!"
"You're a dead woman walking," one of the guards replied coldly, completely ignoring her pathetic threats.
Grace didn't fight. The maid simply wept in pure terror as she was forcefully hauled up from the floor and dragged out of the room, her black and white uniform completely disheveled.
Vincent turned to Emily, who was still standing bravely behind the desk in her pink dress. He knelt down, pulling his eight-year-old daughter into a fierce, protective hug.

👉 Vincent stood up, his dark suit perfectly pressed, ready to unleash absolute hell on the men holding his wife.
