Then: She damaged it. I ended it.
Good. Then he said he had spent years telling himself forged signatures were “administrative.”
Threat was “anger.” Silence was “loyalty.”

Then he apologized for one thing he had never addressed: “You told me she did this to you, and I looked at her before I looked at you.” That was the moment.
