Chapter 10 - The Queen's Exit

The movers hoisted the heavy boxes and walked out of the suite, leaving Adrian standing alone in the center of his empty, echoing closet.

Evelyn picked up her small designer handbag. She didn't look back at the broken, weeping man who had treated her like garbage. She walked gracefully out of the master bedroom, her head held high, completely shedding the weight of her past.

As she walked out the front doors of the massive estate, the warm afternoon sun hit her face.

Waiting in the driveway was a sleek, black Rolls Royce, complete with a private chauffeur paid for by her new corporate trust. The driver respectfully opened the door for her, treating her exactly like the powerful billionaire queen she had become.

Evelyn slid into the luxurious leather seat, resting her hands lovingly on her baby bump. She had survived the ultimate betrayal, outsmarted a monster, and secured an untouchable, infinitely wealthy future for her daughter.

Back in the empty mansion, Adrian collapsed onto the marble floor, sobbing uncontrollably into his hands. He was entirely alone, stripped of his wealth, his status, and the family he had thrown away for a silicone lie.

The Rolls Royce pulled out of the gates, driving Evelyn toward a beautiful, peaceful new life where nobody would ever make her feel small again.

Do you think Adrian deserved to lose his entire billionaire empire, or was taking his company away a step too far for his betrayal?
