Chapter 7 - The Outraged Thief

Medium shot: Victor lay completely groaned and utterly humiliated among the shattered, splintered remains of the elegant console table, clutching his ribs in absolute, blinding pain, entirely incapable of standing back up.
Caroline—the blonde Woman in the Suit—stared at her completely destroyed husband in sheer, unadulterated horror.
Her perfectly curated, highly expensive, and deeply toxic world was violently burning to the ground right in front of her eyes. Instead of realizing the absolute, terrifying danger she was currently in, Caroline’s massive, narcissistic ego completely overrode her basic survival instincts.
She had lived as the absolute queen of this mansion for five years. She genuinely, psychotically believed she still possessed the ultimate authority in the room.
"You have no right!" Caroline shrieked loudly, her face twisting into an incredibly ugly, furious scowl as she aggressively ran forward, her high heels clicking loudly against the marble. She raised her manicured hands, fully intending to violently slap Arthur across the face for destroying her expensive furniture and disrupting her perfect life.
She didn't even make it three steps.
Before Caroline could even come within ten feet of the towering, grey-haired father, one of the massive, highly trained bodyguards in the black suits and sunglasses stepped completely into her path.
The bodyguard didn't draw a weapon. He didn't yell. He simply raised his massive, immovable arm and shoved the arrogant, screaming blonde woman violently and forcefully backward.
The physical force of the shove completely lifted Caroline off her feet. She stumbled backward wildly, her arms flailing in the air, and fell hard, completely ungracefully onto a velvet decorative chair, her light beige skirt suit riding up as she gasped for breath, entirely humiliated and utterly powerless.
