Chapter 7 - The Bloody Truth

“Luca, wait!” Leo choked out, his face turning purple under his older brother’s massive, crushing grip.
“You slept with my fiancée,” Luca growled, his voice vibrating with pure, lethal rage. “You kidnapped an informant. And you murdered the man who taught us how to ride a bike.”
“It was an accident!” Leo panicked, desperately clawing at Luca’s hand. “We didn't mean to kill Frank! We were just trying to move the body! He walked into the garage to get his tools and saw the trunk open! He panicked, he tried to run, and he tripped and hit his head on the concrete!”
The horrifying truth finally spilled out.
“He was bleeding out on the floor,” Leo confessed, crying hysterically. “He pulled out his phone. Vanessa grabbed a wrench... she hit him again, Luca! She finished him off! Then we dragged him to his Cadillac, drove it out to the highway, and pushed it into the ravine to make it look like a crash! We had to protect the family!”
“You were protecting yourself,” Luca said coldly.
He released his brother’s throat. Leo gasped for air, coughing violently as he rolled off the table onto the floor.
Vanessa was screaming at the doors, hysterically begging the security guards to let her out, offering them millions of dollars to open the locks. They didn't even blink.
Luca adjusted his suit jacket, his expression completely devoid of mercy. He looked at his elite security team.
“Daniel,” Luca ordered smoothly. “Take Leo to the basement holding cells. Call the cleaner. I want him prepared for a full syndicate tribunal tomorrow morning. The families will decide his fate.”
“Luca, please! I’m your brother!” Leo begged as two massive guards dragged him across the floor by his expensive suit jacket.
