Chapter 6 - The Traitor's Confession

"I orchestrated this entire masterpiece, Clara," Julian bragged, his arrogant voice dripping with toxic entitlement.
"Five years ago, when you told me you were pregnant, I knew I had to get rid of you," Julian explained, pressing the gun harder against her trembling shoulder. "I intercepted Dante's letters. I paid off the clinic to fake the paternity test. I told you Dante wanted to execute you for betraying him, and you were stupid enough to pack your bags and run away into the night."
Clara sobbed, sliding slowly down the kitchen wall in pure, unadulterated terror.
"Dante spent years mourning you," Julian laughed coldly. "He turned into a ruthless, heartless machine. And I got to stand right by his side, the loyal, supportive brother, quietly securing his entire empire for myself. All I have to do now is put a bullet in you, hunt down the brat, and the throne is permanently mine."
The cinematic realism of the absolute, crushing betrayal paralyzed the entire room.
Julian raised the suppressed pistol, aiming it directly at Clara's forehead.
"Say goodbye to your miserable life, Clara," Julian whispered.
He never even got the chance to pull the trigger.
A massive, heavily tattooed hand shot out from the shadows of the hallway with blinding, terrifying, surgical brutality.
Dante grabbed Julian’s wrist, twisting it violently backward with bone-crushing force.
