Chapter 6 - The Digital Guillotine

The massive digital screens flanking the altar didn't display photos anymore.

They displayed high-definition, undeniable, and completely unredacted financial ledgers.

The offshore bank accounts in the Cayman Islands. The massive, illegal wire transfers. And clearly visible at the bottom of every single document was Victoria’s authorized digital signature, proving she had systematically stolen nineteen million dollars from the Moretti syndicate.

The cinematic realism of the absolute, crushing betrayal completely paralyzed the wealthy guests. In the violent, unforgiving world of the mafia, stealing from the Boss was an immediate, highly public death sentence.

Victoria stumbled into the ballroom, her lavish white wedding gown suddenly looking like a funeral shroud.

"Alessandro! It's a fake!" Victoria shrieked wildly, completely abandoning her elegant, high-society persona. "The analyst hacked the system! She framed me! You have to believe me!"

Alessandro didn't scream. He didn't draw a weapon. The absolute, titanium fury in his posture was infinitely more terrifying.

He calmly pulled his encrypted cell phone from his tailored tuxedo jacket. He tapped a single button, calling his Head of Security down in the basement.

"Bring the analyst back upstairs," Alessandro commanded softly. "Unharmed."

He ended the call and slowly turned his lethal, apex-predator gaze toward the screaming bride.

"You didn't just steal from my family," Alessandro whispered coldly, his voice echoing perfectly across the dead-silent ballroom. "You tried to let an innocent woman be murdered to cover your tracks."

👉 Alessandro raised two fingers in the air, signaling the absolute destruction of his fake bride.
