Chapter 6 - The Lethal Realization

Dominic didn't yell. The silence that radiated from him was infinitely more terrifying.
He looked at Elena, and then he looked down at the four little boys hiding behind her dress. Four identical, perfect sons that he had missed for six entire years because of a treacherous, greedy rat in his organization.
Dominic reached into his jacket pocket. He didn't pull out a weapon. He pulled out the velvet engagement ring box meant for the Rossi heiress.
With absolute, emotionless precision, Dominic casually tossed the velvet box into the gold-rimmed trash can.
"Take the boys out the back exit," Dominic commanded softly, his voice a freezing, lethal frequency. "My personal driver is in the black SUV in the alley. Tell him I said code red. He will take you to my private, secure estate. No one will touch you."
Elena hesitated, her eyes wide with shock. "Dominic... what are you going to do?"
"I am going to clean house," Dominic stated clinically, entirely devoid of human mercy.
He didn't wait for her to answer. Dominic turned on his heel and marched out of the bathroom.
He walked directly back into the luxurious, brightly lit dining room. Sitting at the massive VIP table was Silvio, the aging, arrogant Underboss, laughing loudly with the other capos and the Rossi family representatives, entirely oblivious to the apocalyptic wrath approaching him.
Dominic didn't sit down. He walked straight up behind Silvio’s chair.
"Silvio," Dominic whispered, leaning down so his voice carried a terrifying, untouchable power directly into the traitor's ear.

Silvio smiled, turning around with a crystal glass of champagne. "Boss! Did you pop the question yet?"
👉 Dominic didn't answer; he simply raised two fingers, unleashing an absolute, public slaughter.
