Chapter 8 - The Estate Reunion

The chaotic, violent energy was entirely dragged out of the upscale Boston restaurant.

Dominic completely ignored the screaming patrons and the stunned Rossi heiress. He walked calmly out the back exit, his expensive navy suit perfectly intact, and climbed into his secondary armored vehicle.

He drove directly to his massive, heavily secured private estate on the outskirts of the city.

When Dominic walked through the heavy double doors of his mansion, the suffocating tension of the last six years completely vanished.

Elena was sitting on the plush leather sofa in the grand living room, her sparkling lilac gown contrasting against the dark wood of the house. The four identical boys were sitting on the expensive rug, eating sandwiches prepared by Dominic’s private chef, completely unfazed by the opulent wealth surrounding them.

Dominic stopped in the doorway, staring at the beautiful, chaotic scene.

Elena looked up. She saw the absolute, unbroken truth in his dark eyes. He wasn't the monster she thought he was. He was a fiercely loyal protector who had just burned his own empire to the ground to keep them safe.

"Is it done?" Elena asked softly.

"Silvio is gone. The loyalists have secured the city," Dominic replied smoothly, completely lowering his intimidating guard. He walked slowly over to the sofa and dropped to his knees right in front of her.

He didn't care about his expensive suit. He gently reached out, his hand softly cupping Elena's cheek.

"I am so sorry you had to run," Dominic whispered, his deep voice thick with profound, overwhelming emotion. "I will spend the rest of my life proving to you that you never have to be scared again."

👉 Elena leaned into his touch, realizing her boys were finally safe with their true, terrifying protector.
