for three agonizing days, sylvester completely ignored the attack on the docks. he didn't issue public threats, and he didn't send his enforcers to the morretti territories. the media assumed he was weak, and carlo arrogantly celebrated his supposed victory.
but in the shadows, sylvester was mobilizing a highly sophisticated, completely invisible tactical operation. he utilized his deep, underground network to trace the specific incendiary devices used at the docks back to a hidden morretti weapons cache located in an abandoned warehouse district.
"they think you are a relic of the past, boss," marcus said, reviewing the thermal satellite imagery of the morretti warehouse. "they have thirty armed men guarding the perimeter."
