Chapter 6 - The Cowardly Exit

Julian slowly turned his head. His dark, unblinking eyes locked onto the Woman in Silver.

The socialite—whose husband happened to be a minor corporate executive desperately trying to secure a contract with Vance Enterprises—felt her knees completely buckle under the weight of his stare.

"You," Julian whispered, taking a slow, predatory step toward her.

"I... I didn't know!" the Woman in Silver stammered frantically, her haughty facade entirely shattered as she backed away, tripping over her own light blue gloves. "She spilled champagne on me! It was an accident! I'm a friend of the board—"

"You're unemployed," Julian interrupted coldly. "And your husband's company is currently being valued at zero. By midnight, my legal team will ensure you are sued into bankruptcy, evicted from your gated community, and stripped of every single designer dress you own."

The Woman in Silver let out a choked, hysterical shriek, turning on her heel and sprinting blindly toward the exit doors, abandoning her dignity entirely as the elite guests parted like the Red Sea to let her escape.

Julian didn't even watch her leave. He stepped back to his sister, gently taking Abigail by the shoulders.

"You're coming home with me," Julian said firmly, his voice laced with absolute, unyielding authority.

👉 The villainess was banished, but the father of Abigail's unborn child was still hiding in the shadows, waiting for his reckoning.
