Chapter 4 - The Forged Empire

Before Victoria’s manicured claws could even brush my uniform, Julian’s hand shot out with blinding, terrifying speed. He caught her by the wrist, entirely paralyzing her with an iron, bone-crushing grip.
"Don't you ever try to touch her," Julian growled softly, shoving his stepmother backward into a golden pillar.
He turned back to me. "What documents, Elena?"
I reached into the deep pocket of my white apron. I pulled out a crumpled, heavy legal document. I had dug it out of Victoria’s private trash can that morning. I unfolded it and handed it directly to Julian.
It was a revised Last Will and Testament for the Sterling family trust.
"She brought a lawyer here three days ago, sir," I explained, ensuring every syllable was crystal clear. "She forced your father to sign away complete control of the offshore accounts and the real estate directly to her name. She told him if he didn't sign it, she would fire me, and he would completely starve to death."
Julian looked at the signature at the bottom of the page. It was shaky, jagged, and completely unnatural.
The cinematic realism of the absolute, crushing evil in the room took the breath out of Julian’s lungs. Victoria hadn't just been abusing a vulnerable old man. She had meticulously planned to legally steal a billion-dollar empire and intentionally starve the only witness to death.
"Julian, it's a forgery!" Victoria wept hysterically, realizing she was completely, permanently trapped. "The maid forged it to ruin our family! She wants your money!"

Julian slowly lowered the paper. His dark eyes turned pitch black, completely devoid of any human mercy.
👉 Julian didn't pull a weapon; instead, he initiated a financial slaughter that would destroy Victoria's entire soul.
