Chapter 5 - The Financial Guillotine
Julian didn't yell. A quick, violent outburst in the hallway was far too generous for a monster who preyed on the helpless.
He pulled his encrypted smartphone from his black suit jacket. He dialed his Chief Financial Officer, putting the call on speaker so Victoria could hear the absolute devastation of her life.
"Initiate the hostile takeover of Victoria's brother's importing business," Julian ordered smoothly, his eyes locked entirely on the weeping woman against the pillar.
"No! Julian, I beg of you! My family has nothing to do with this!" Victoria shrieked, dropping to her knees on the cold marble floor.
"Liquidate their stock," Julian continued ruthlessly, completely ignoring her. "Call in every single one of their corporate debts. Freeze their supply chains. I want her family completely bankrupt, destitute, and stripped of every asset they own by the time the market opens tomorrow morning."
"Understood, Boss," the CFO replied. "The transfer is complete."
Victoria physically sagged against the golden pillar, her entire toxic existence turning to ash. She had just cost her family their entire wealthy legacy. They were permanently, completely ruined.
But the financial destruction was only the very beginning of her punishment.
