Chapter 5 - The Master Will

"You locked me out of the office to hide the will," Emily explained flawlessly, her voice cutting through the dead-silent ballroom like a federal guillotine. "But you forgot that Dad always kept a certified carbon copy filed directly with his personal federal attorneys."

Emily pulled a heavily folded, legally stamped document from her clutch and held it up in the bright light of the crystal chandeliers.

"Dad knew you were embezzling money to buy Vanessa diamonds," Emily stated clinically, looking at the horrified mistress with pure, unfiltered disgust. "He knew you were actively draining the corporate accounts to fund your lavish, pathetic lifestyle. That's why he explicitly wrote you out of the primary inheritance clause three weeks before he died."

Richard staggered backward, his black tuxedo wrinkling as his knees buckled.

"No! That's a forgery!" Richard wailed hysterically, completely abandoning his strong, masculine persona. "I am the eldest son! The company belongs to me!"

"The company belongs to the person holding fifty-one percent of the voting shares," Emily whispered coldly. "And according to this federal document, Dad left exactly fifty-one percent of the empire directly to me."

The cinematic realism of the suffocating, paralyzing terror completely electrified the room. The wealthy guests gasped in absolute shock. Richard wasn't the billionaire king. He was just a pathetic, temporary placeholder who had just violently assaulted the true owner of the entire dynasty.

👉 Vanessa realized her golden goose was dead, and the vicious fiancée immediately turned into a feral animal.
