Chapter 7 - The Flash Drive

No one from the venue's security team moved a muscle. They were completely intimidated by Elias’s detail.

I slowly walked up the center aisle, my simple navy dress completely contrasting with the opulent, stolen wealth surrounding me. I stopped right next to Elias. I didn't look like a victim anymore. I looked entirely in control.

I unclasped the small silver clutch. I pulled out the small black flash drive and tossed it directly onto the pristine white tablecloth right in front of my father's plate.

"What is this, Emma?" my mother hissed defensively, finally speaking up to protect her husband. "Stop this nonsense immediately! You're acting insane!"

"That flash drive contains exactly four hundred and twelve encrypted wire transfers," I announced clearly, making sure the wealthy guests and investors in the room heard every single word. "Transfers moving six million dollars from my grandmother's trust fund, routing through three offshore shell companies in the Caymans, and depositing directly into the operating account of Vanessa’s luxury lifestyle brand."

All the color violently drained from Vanessa’s face. She looked down at the black flash drive as if it were a venomous snake.

"That's a lie!" Vanessa screamed, turning to her new groom, whose face was already twisting in horror. "She's just jealous! She's making it up!"

"It's not a lie, Vanessa," Elias interrupted smoothly. "Because Vanguard Acquisitions officially purchased the holding company that manages those exact Cayman accounts yesterday morning. We own the ledgers. The paper trail is absolute, undeniable fact."

👉 The illusion of their wealth was completely shattered, and the true nightmare of their punishment had only just begun.
