Celina’s plan turned out to be even more calculated than removing Ellie to Hartwell House.
She had already discovered that Grace was alive.
That was why the mysterious document had been inside Ellie’s box.
It was a current address verification linked to Grace.
Celina intended to use Grace’s existence as part of the placement strategy.
Her theory was viciously simple.
If Grace reappeared suddenly after years away, Ellie would become emotionally destabilized.
Celina could then argue that residential treatment was necessary.
At the same time, she planned to leak enough information about Grace’s old mental-health treatment to frame her as unsafe.
Luciano would be caught between an allegedly unstable biological mother and a supposedly unstable child.
Celina positioned herself as the calm future wife holding the family together.
Then she would move Ellie out.
Afterward, Celina believed Grace could be pressured into signing away further claims in exchange for privacy.
It was Aldo’s old strategy all over again.
Shame.
Documents.
Isolation.
Make vulnerable people look unstable.
Then call control protection.
