When Bianca finally agreed to speak through attorneys, she abandoned the fiction that she never knew Natalie.
Her first admission was almost insulting in its simplicity.
“I panicked.”

“Because she found a pendant?”

“The storage card.”
She nodded.
Then she admitted she had approached me deliberately.
