Victoria’s trial lasted six weeks.

Trust documents.
Metadata.
Emails.
Ledgers.
Witnesses.
Not cinematic.
Devastating.
The prosecution built a pattern.
Unauthorized trustee change.
Bridge loan misuse.
False reclassification.
Coercive proxy attempt.
Affair manipulation.
Narrative contingency.
Retaliation.
The defense argued everyone benefited.
Ryan had jobs.
I had status.
Employees had salaries.
The prosecutor answered:
“Benefit does not equal consent.”
That became the central legal idea.
Then I testified.
Victoria’s attorney asked:
“Mrs. Cole, did you enjoy the Cole lifestyle?”
“Yes.”
“Live in expensive homes?”
“Yes.”
“Travel privately?”
“Yes.”
“Benefit from family wealth?”
“Yes.”
He smiled.
“So you accepted the arrangement.”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“Because enjoying a dinner does not authorize someone to empty my bank account.”
The jury understood.
Then he asked why I stayed after discovering the affair.
I answered:
“Because I was still deciding what was true.”
