Chapter 14 - Vanessa Eventually Sent Evelyn the Unedited Videos
Four years after the kitchen incident, Evelyn received a package.
No letter at first.
A hard drive.
Then a short note from Vanessa.
These are all the original videos, including clips I did not send Ethan or Martin. You should have them because they are recordings of you. I kept copies only through counsel as required by our settlement and will not use them publicly.
Evelyn almost threw it away.
Then watched.

One video showed Evelyn laughing while trying to remember the name of a vineyard employee.
Vanessa laughed too.

The archive was not proof Vanessa invented everything.
Evelyn truly forgot things.
Truly yelled.
Truly became difficult sometimes.
But full clips restored:
