Chapter 8 - The Russian Debt

Vincent looked up at his massive, highly trained bodyguards.

"Strip him," Vincent commanded.

The guards stepped forward. They violently ripped Dominic’s expensive suit jacket off his back. They confiscated his phone, his wallet, and tore the heavy gold watch from his wrist. They completely stripped him of his wealthy, arrogant armor, leaving him kneeling on the floor in a torn white undershirt.

"Vincent, I beg of you! I'll go to the police! I'll confess to the hit-and-run! Just let me go to prison!" Dominic sobbed, desperately crawling toward Vincent’s polished shoes.

"You aren't going to prison," Vincent replied smoothly.

Vincent pulled his phone back up and dialed a new number. "Call the Russian syndicate. Tell them Dominic was the one who skimmed from their diamond shipment last year. Tell them he’s sitting in my driveway. Let the wolves handle the thief."

Dominic let out a guttural, agonizing shriek of absolute terror.

The guards hauled the weeping, humiliated traitor to his feet. They dragged him out of the luxurious therapy room, his pathetic screams echoing down the grand hallway until the heavy steel doors slammed shut, permanently swallowing his toxic existence into violent ruin.
