Chapter 6 - The Silver Watch

The heavy, suffocating silence in the first-class cabin was absolutely deafening.

Olivia walked slowly back onto the aircraft, her white sneakers completely silent on the carpeted floor. She stopped right next to the furious Vice President.

Caroline couldn't breathe. Her immaculately styled blonde bun felt tight against her scalp. She stared at the woman she had just forcefully evicted.

A tight close-up captured Caroline’s terrified eyes darting down to Olivia’s hands. For the first time, she truly looked at the sleek, silver wristwatch Olivia was wearing.

It wasn't a standard, cheap digital watch. It was a custom-made, platinum timepiece heavily engraved with a highly specific, undeniable corporate insignia—the absolute highest tier of executive ownership within the airline’s parent company.

"Caroline," Mr. Vance stated coldly, his voice echoing through the cabin like a death sentence. "Do you have absolutely any idea who you just threw off this airplane?"

Caroline’s jaw literally unhinged. She began to shake violently, the gold name badge on her uniform rattling.

"I... she was wearing sweatpants," Caroline stammered pathetically, desperately pointing a trembling finger at Olivia’s clothing. "She didn't look like a premium passenger! I was protecting the brand!"

"She isn't a premium passenger," Mr. Vance roared, his fury completely unleashed. "She is Olivia Sterling. The newly appointed CEO and majority shareholder of this entire airline!"
