Chapter 1 - The Public Humiliation

The luxurious Manhattan rooftop restaurant was a glittering playground for the ultra-rich. Bright afternoon sunlight poured through the massive glass windows, reflecting off silver champagne buckets, crisp white tablecloths, and towering pink and white floral arrangements. The elite Wall Street crowd murmured over their expensive brunch, entirely oblivious to the brutal humiliation about to unfold at the corner table.

Fiona stood perfectly still, her hands gripping the edges of her black serving tray so tightly her knuckles turned white.

The 28-year-old woman wore a pink retro-style waitress uniform with a crisp white collar and a white apron. Her brown hair was tied back in a messy ponytail, a few strands clinging to her forehead from the sheer exhaustion of working a double shift.

Suddenly, a massive, heavily tattooed hand reached out and violently snatched the smartphone right out of her apron pocket.

"Well, look at this!"

Grant Holloway leaned back in his plush chair, holding Fiona’s phone high in the air. The 37-year-old billionaire was terrifyingly handsome and brutally arrogant. He wore a sharp white suit jacket over an unbuttoned white dress shirt, exposing the heavy, dark syndicate tattoos crawling across his chest and hands. A heavy gold watch caught the sunlight as he waved the phone around.

"My waitress thinks she's a Wall Street analyst!" Grant mocked loudly, his voice booming over the soft jazz playing in the background.

His two friends sitting across the table, Derek and Nolan, wearing perfectly tailored beige and white suits, instantly erupted into cruel, mocking laughter. They pointed at the glowing screen of Fiona's phone, completely delighted by the billionaire's sadistic bullying.

👉 Grant thought he was just humiliating a helpless servant, but he was holding the very weapon that would end his life.
