Chapter 5 - The Wheelchair Trap
As Sophia lunged violently toward the wheelchair in her heavy wedding gown, Ethan didn't flinch.
He couldn't stand up, but his upper body was incredibly strong from years of pushing his own weight. With blinding, explosive speed, Ethan grabbed the heavy armrest of his custom wheelchair and violently spun the entire chair sideways.
Sophia tripped over the heavy metal footrest. Her forward momentum carried her through the air, and she crashed hard onto the polished stone floor, tearing the expensive white lace of her designer gown and scraping her knees against the hard surface.
"Don't touch him!" Maya yelled bravely, standing firmly beside Ethan's wheels, refusing to back down from the flailing woman.
"You little brat!" Sophia shrieked from the floor, her beautiful blonde updo completely ruined, her face red with feral, unhinged rage. She scrambled to her feet, desperate to grab the phone before Ethan could send the audio file to his lawyers.
But before she could take another step toward the billionaire, three massive, heavily armed private security contractors—men who had been standing discreetly near the floral arches—rushed the altar.
"Stand down!" the lead contractor roared, grabbing Sophia roughly by the arms and twisting them expertly behind her back.
"Let go of me!" Sophia wailed pathetically, kicking her expensive white heels against the elegant stone columns. "I am the bride! I am going to be the CEO of this company! You work for me! Arrest this lying child!"
Ethan looked down at the struggling, weeping monster in the white dress, his expression entirely devoid of mercy.
"You don't even work in the mailroom," Ethan replied coldly.
He looked at his lead security contractor, his dark eyes radiating pure authority. "The police have already been dispatched. Hand her directly over to the detectives. I want her charged with attempted murder, medical fraud, and corporate espionage. When she gets to lockup, make sure the warden knows I want her in solitary confinement. Deny her bail."

"No! Ethan, please!" Sophia sobbed hysterically, completely shattering into a desperate coward as the massive guards dragged her away from the altar.
