Chapter 2 - The Red Storm

The heavy velvet curtain separating the aircraft's private cabin from the main entrance suddenly parted with a sharp rustle.
Claire walked down the aisle.
The 30-year-old elegant woman was a walking vision of absolute, unyielding power. Her dark hair was pulled back into a severe, flawless chignon. She wore a bold, striking red double-breasted suit jacket adorned with heavy gold buttons, perfectly tailored matching red pants, and sharp black heels that clicked with lethal precision against the cabin floor. In her right hand, she carried a sleek black leather handbag.
Her expression was a mask of cold, focused, and terrifying determination.
The low murmur of the cabin instantly evaporated. The flight attendant stopped dead in her tracks, pressing herself against the wood-paneled wall to clear the path.
Claire didn't rush. She moved with the slow, terrifying grace of a predator closing in on trapped prey. The bright red of her suit stood out violently against the cream-colored leather, a glaring warning sign that Ryan had entirely failed to read.
She walked past the first row, her sharp eyes locked onto a single target.

Ryan was laughing softly at something his mistress whispered, entirely unaware of the storm marching up behind him.
👉 Claire was inches away from her unfaithful husband, and the expression on his face when he turned around was going to be priceless.
