Chapter 6 - The Account Erased

Claire raised the smartphone to her ear, her dark hair catching the soft cabin lighting as she spoke directly into the speaker with firm, authoritative precision.
"Hello?" Claire said, her voice echoing clearly through the silent jet. "We need to cancel Ryan's account immediately."
On the other end of the line, the senior partner’s voice crackled instantly: "Confirmed, Mrs. Vance. Freezing all primary credit lines, corporate cards, investment portfolios, and revoking his secondary access to the trust. Executing the pre-nup asset forfeiture clause effective immediately."
"Thank you," Claire replied smoothly. "Do not let him land with a single cent."
She tapped the red end-call button, slipping the phone back into her black handbag with calm, effortless grace.
Beside her, Ryan collapsed entirely. He put his head in his hands, his fingers clutching desperately at his dark blonde hair in absolute defeat and panic. All the color had vanished from his face. His cards were frozen. His corporate access was gone. The private jet they were riding in? Leased through Claire’s family credit line, which had just been instantly revoked.

The pilot’s voice suddenly crackled over the intercom, sounding deeply strained: "Sir... Ma'am... we just received an automated alert from air traffic control. Our landing clearance at Paris has been revoked. Corporate command is ordering us to turn around and land back at the private hangar immediately."
👉 Ryan’s luxurious escape had turned into a nightmare, but the walk of shame waiting for him on the tarmac was going to be his true punishment.
