Chapter 9 - The Panic

The entire grand hall erupted into a massive, horrified gasp.

Women covered their mouths in shock. Powerful men stood up from their chairs, their faces twisting in sheer disgust as they stared at the groom standing near the altar.

Julian’s hands began to shake violently. The crystal champagne glass slipped from his fingers, shattering loudly against the polished marble floor.

"No!" Julian shrieked, his voice cracking with pure, unadulterated terror. He waved his hands frantically at the crowd. "It's a deepfake! It's edited! He's trying to frame me! Don't look at it!"

But the guests weren't just looking at the video. Below the video file was a direct link to a massive digital folder containing every single unencrypted offshore bank record, wire transfer, and forged document Julian had used to steal from the company.

It was undeniable, forensic proof of his crimes.

Julian spun around, desperately looking for an exit. He bolted toward the side doors of the grand hall, intending to escape into the gardens and flee the property.

But as he reached the wooden doors and violently yanked them open, he crashed directly into a wall of solid muscle.
