Chapter 7 - The Final Judgment

"Adrian, please! I'll leave the country! I'll confess to the police! Just let me go to federal prison!" Marcus sobbed, tears and drool ruining his face.

Adrian slowly crouched down, resting his arm on his knee, looking directly into Marcus's terrified eyes.

"You aren't going to prison, Marcus," Adrian replied, his voice devoid of any human emotion.

Adrian raised his phone and dialed a completely different number.

"Call the Russian syndicate," Adrian ordered his head enforcer. "Tell them Marcus was the one who intentionally leaked their shipping routes to the feds last year. Tell them he’s sitting tied up in my loading dock right now. Let the wolves handle the thief."

Marcus let out a guttural, agonizing shriek of absolute, apocalyptic terror.

The massive enforcers didn't hesitate. They hauled the screaming, weeping traitor to his feet. They dragged him out of the luxurious suite, his pathetic screams echoing down the long hallway until the heavy steel doors of the loading dock slammed shut, permanently swallowing his toxic existence into violent ruin.

The threat was entirely neutralized. The empire was secure.

The chaotic, violent energy completely evaporated from the massive estate.
