Chapter 8 - The Father's Fury

The heavy oak door didn't just open. It violently exploded inward.
The massive force of a Size 12 leather shoe kicked the wood so hard the lock completely shattered, sending splinters flying across the luxurious carpet.
Leo gasped, spinning around entirely too late.
Vincent Rossi burst into the room like a dark, lethal hurricane. His piercing gray-blue eyes were utterly black with murderous rage. Before Leo could even raise his silenced pistol, Vincent was already on him.
With blinding, cinematic speed, Vincent’s left hand shot out, violently gripping Leo’s wrist and snapping it backward. The silenced pistol clattered uselessly to the floor. Simultaneously, Vincent drove his heavy pistol whip directly into Leo’s jaw with a sickening crunch.
Leo collapsed to his knees, spitting blood, completely paralyzed by the sheer, explosive violence of the mafia boss.
Dominic stepped into the room exactly one second later, his weapon drawn and covering the perimeter. He smoothly kicked Leo’s dropped gun under the bed.
Vincent didn't stop. He grabbed Leo by the collar of his expensive suit, dragging him violently across the carpet and slamming him completely against the far wall, knocking the pictures off the plaster. Vincent pressed the burning hot barrel of his 1911 directly underneath Leo’s chin.
"You murdered my wife," Vincent breathed, his voice a terrifying, lethal rasp. "You put my son in a chair."
