Chapter 4 - The Giant Awakens

The absolute second Sarah confirmed she wasn't a Navy SEAL, the three hundred students in the wooden bleachers erupted into hysterical, mocking laughter.
Matty was completely crushed. He collapsed forward in his metal folding chair, burying his face in his knees, entirely shattered that his hero had just surrendered. Lieutenant Wyler smiled triumphantly, adjusting his pristine white dress uniform, fully believing he had just won the ultimate victory over a lying child and a lowly enlisted soldier.
But the laughter was abruptly, violently silenced.
At the neighboring Navy demonstration table, Chief Daniel Hayes violently shoved his metal chair backward. The loud, metallic screech echoed like a gunshot over the crowd. He rose to his full, towering, intimidating height. His sudden movement was so aggressive that his coffee cup was sent rattling wildly across the black equipment cases on his table.
The students in the front row immediately stopped laughing, terrified by the sheer size and raw, explosive fury radiating from the highly decorated combat veteran.
Chief Hayes stepped out from behind his table. His rugged, sun-weathered face was twisted into a mask of pure, unadulterated rage. His piercing blue-gray eyes locked directly onto Lieutenant Wyler, completely ignoring the stunned crowd.
Every single person in the room held their breath as the muscular giant marched aggressively toward the center of the basketball floor.
