Chapter 10 - The Unbreakable Bond

A year later, the exclusive Manhattan restaurant was lit up again for a massive celebration. But this time, it wasn't a tense, toxic encounter.

It was a first birthday party.

The entire VIP section was rented out, decorated with beautiful blue and gold balloons. Emma stood near the window, wearing a stunning, elegant emerald dress, radiating absolute health and undeniable power.

She was holding her one-year-old son, who was laughing and playing with a small toy car.

Graham stood right beside them. He wasn't just her CEO anymore. Over the last year, their mutual respect had blossomed into a deep, fierce, and unbreakable romance. He was wearing his sharp black tuxedo, but his eyes were completely soft as he looked at the little boy he loved like his own son.

Graham gently wrapped his arm around Emma’s waist, kissing the top of her head.

"Happy birthday, buddy," Graham smiled, handing the little boy a perfectly wrapped present.

Emma leaned into Graham, her heart swelling with an overwhelming, unshakeable peace. She looked out at the beautiful, peaceful life she had built. The nightmare was completely over, and Emma finally realized that the greatest revenge against a man who abandons you isn't destroying him—it's proving that you can conquer the entire world without him.

Do you think twenty years in prison was enough justice for Nolan, or did the cruel ex-husband deserve a harsher punishment for stealing from his company to buy a ring?
