Chapter 6 - The Mother's Execution

Preston didn't yell. He didn't throw his heavy crystal whiskey glass at the wall.
The absolute, titanium fury in his dark eyes was infinitely more terrifying. He walked out of his corporate office, completely ignoring his scheduled board meetings, and drove his armored SUV directly to his mother’s sprawling country estate.
His mother, Eleanor, was sitting on the luxury patio, drinking expensive champagne with her high-society friends.
Preston marched straight through the garden, holding the stack of unopened letters in his hand. He didn't care about the elite guests watching him.
"You intercepted her mail," Preston stated clinically, his voice cutting through the warm afternoon air like a frozen blade.
Eleanor’s arrogant smile instantly vanished. The blood violently drained from her powdered face as she recognized the letters in his hand.
"Preston, be reasonable," Eleanor stammered, frantically waving her manicured hands. "She is a gold digger! Those children would have ruined your reputation! I was protecting the Vance family empire!"
"You starved my sons," Preston whispered softly, stepping dangerously close to his mother.
"They aren't your sons! She probably slept with—"
Eleanor never finished her sentence.

"I am freezing your accounts," Preston commanded, his voice completely devoid of human empathy. "Your access to the trust fund is permanently revoked. You have exactly one hour to pack a single suitcase and vacate this estate, or my security team will drag you out by your hair."
👉 Eleanor screamed in apocalyptic terror, completely unaware that Preston was already on his way to reclaim his true family.
