Chapter 6 - The Digital Guillotine

Vincent strode back into the grand dining room, projecting the aura of a grim reaper.
Dante was still pinned against the oak pillar by the armed guards, sweating profusely, his expensive navy suit wrinkled and ruined. When he saw Vincent holding the black ledger and the vials of poison, all the color violently drained from his face.
"Vincent, please!" Dante shrieked, completely abandoning his powerful, charming facade. "It's a misunderstanding! The cartel forced me to do it! They said they would kill my family if I didn't help them take you out!"
"You are a coward," Vincent stated smoothly, dropping the ledger onto the marble dining table. "And a liar."
Vincent didn't pull a weapon. A quick bullet was far too generous for a traitor who preyed on innocent mothers and children.
Vincent pulled his encrypted smartphone from his tailored black suit jacket.
"While you were busy threatening the hired help," Vincent explained coldly, "my chief accountant just used the routing numbers in your little black book. We bypassed your biometric locks."
Dante’s eyes widened in sheer, unadulterated terror.
"We just seized every single dollar you stole," Vincent announced to the silent room. "We liquidated your shell companies. We drained your personal trust funds. You have absolutely zero dollars to your name. You are entirely, permanently bankrupt."
Dante let out a horrific, high-pitched wail of pure agony, thrashing against the guards.

"And I just forwarded your ledger to the Russian syndicate you were conspiring with," Vincent added ruthlessly. "They now know you lost their investment money."
👉 Dante begged to be spared, but Vincent’s final judgment would permanently banish him to hell.
