Chapter 6 - The Fiancée's Betrayal

"Hold him," Dominic ordered his men, stepping back from the shattered table.
Two massive bodyguards instantly grabbed Marco, dragging him to his knees and pressing the barrels of their guns against his skull.
Dominic slowly turned his intense, lethal gaze toward Camilla. The arrogant woman in the designer dress was violently trembling, her back pressed against the wall.
"Dominic, darling," Camilla stammered, her voice shrill and panicked. "This is insane! The maid is clearly working with a rival cartel! You have to kill her!"
"My sister’s letter says Marco hasn't been working alone for the last year," Dominic stated smoothly, reading the final paragraph aloud. "It says Marco found a partner who wanted absolute control of my empire. A partner who agreed to help him murder my eight-month-old son tonight, so I wouldn't have a direct heir."
All the color violently drained from Camilla’s perfectly contoured face.
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Camilla shrieked, backing away toward the heavy double doors of the private room.
Dominic didn't yell. He walked calmly over to the mahogany table and picked up the small, plastic baby bottle filled with milk that Camilla had personally handed to him ten minutes before the dinner began.
Dominic unscrewed the cap of the baby bottle. He walked over to Camilla and held it out.
