Chapter 20 - the power of control

Three years had passed since the day Damon took over the old veteran Miller's dojo. This place had become a solid anchor for dozens of teenagers in the area, helping them find a strong and righteous direction in life.
Evan was now a tall, rugged, and fully confident sixteen-year-old teenager. He was no longer the skinny boy easily bullied like before. Under his father's guidance, Evan had earned his black belt through extraordinary effort.
The boy did not participate in flashy commercial tournaments. Evan used his strength to help friends, protecting the vulnerable students at school from bullies. He had truly grasped the most precious lesson from his father.
On a radiant, sunny weekend afternoon, Evan was patiently teaching a group of young students basic defense techniques. He gently corrected their every move, flashing a kind smile, radiating an incredibly calm aura.
Damon stood in the corner of the room, leaning against the wall, smiling proudly at his son. He no longer had to work exhausting night shifts; his calloused hands had now found the highest, most noble purpose of a father.

Miller walked up beside him, together admiring the warm, vibrant scene. "You did very well, Damon," the old veteran whispered. "You didn't just save your son; you created a better future for all of them."
The darkness of war and senseless violence had receded forever into the past. In this sunlit dojo, power was no longer a tool for cruelty, but had become an eternal shield protecting goodness and love.
