Chapter 6 - The Bodyguards

"Security!" Admiral Harrison bellowed at the top of his lungs.

The heavy doors to the dining room burst open. Four massive, heavily armed private security contractors—men loyal directly to Harrison’s corrupt payroll—stormed into the elegant space. They bypassed the terrified family guests, their hands reaching for the suppressed weapons holstered under their jackets.

"Seize that woman!" Harrison commanded frantically, pointing a shaking finger at Samantha. "She has stolen classified military property! Secure the drive and detain her in the basement until I make some calls!"

The guards lunged toward the dining table.

Samantha didn't scream. She didn't cower behind her chair. She simply stayed seated, her posture impeccable.

Before the first guard could even reach the table, Mark stepped forward. He didn't look like a terrified civilian. He casually unbuttoned his tuxedo jacket and snapped his fingers.

Instantly, the massive floor-to-ceiling windows of the dining room shattered inward.

Six elite, heavily armed tactical operatives wearing black tactical gear and night-vision goggles repelled directly into the dining room. They moved with blinding, flawless precision, tackling Harrison’s corrupt guards to the hardwood floor before they could even draw their weapons.

The wealthy guests screamed, diving under the table as laser sights swept the room.

Within five seconds, Harrison’s men were completely disarmed, zip-tied, and pinned to the floor.
