Chapter 9 - The Brutal Eviction

"Take her," Dante ordered smoothly. "Empty her offshore accounts. Strip her of every single asset, property, and piece of jewelry she possesses. And then hand the complete financial ledgers over to our contacts at the FBI. Let her rot in a federal cell for the rest of her miserable life."
"No! No, please!" Vivian screamed in total, undeniable disgrace as the heavy bodyguards aggressively grabbed her arms.
"Get your filthy hands off me!" Vivian shrieked, desperately trying to fight the massive men. "I am the manager! You can't do this to me!"
They didn't care about her pathetic threats. One of the bodyguards aggressively ripped the multi-million-dollar diamond necklace right off her throat. They forcefully hauled the weeping, humiliated stepmother backward across the pristine marble floor, completely exposing her to the vicious, mocking glares of the elite corporate diners she had just tried to impress.
She was forcefully dragged out of the luxury restaurant and shoved brutally into the back of a black SUV waiting in the alley, her high-society life permanently, completely erased in a single afternoon.
The chaotic, toxic energy was entirely dragged out of the room, plunging the magnificent Manhattan restaurant back into a profound, heavy peace.
The wealthy guests watched in absolute, stunned silence as Dante turned his full attention back to the beautiful young woman standing beside the massive black guard dog.
