Chapter 6 - The Portrait Setup

Wide shot: Transition to an indoor, brightly lit private room off the main hall, set up specifically for formal family portraits.

A professional Cameraman dressed entirely in black stood behind a heavy professional video camera mounted securely on a tall aluminum tripod. The camera was pointed directly at a velvet backdrop, fitted with a high-end live-feed tablet securely clamped to the side of the tripod, broadcasting a clear, crisp video and audio feed in real time.

Little Lucas, his grandmother Eleanor, and the radiant Bride stood together in front of the camera, posing for the family portrait.

The visual contrast between them was absolute nightmare fuel.

Eleanor stood on the left, tears visibly streaming down her aged cheeks, her body shaking so violently she could barely stand, though she was desperately forcing a tragic, trembling smile for the lens.

The Bride stood in the center, her blonde hair framing her face as she smiled brightly, radiating pure, innocent, radiant bridal joy.

And little Lucas stood on the right, wearing his sharp navy blue suit and light blue tie, his face completely expressionless, staring directly into the camera lens with the chilling focus of an executioner.

The Cameraman adjusted the lens, peering through the viewfinder.

"Ready. To be," the Cameraman called out in a monotone, professional voice, signaling them to hold their positions for the final snapshot.
