Chapter 8 - The Audio Trap

The crystal-clear audio echoed loudly off the crystal chandeliers and the white marble columns of the grand reception hall, stopping the hundreds of elite wedding guests completely dead in their tracks.

The laughter died instantly. The champagne glasses stopped clinking.

The billionaire groom—who had been standing near the bar thanking his corporate partners—froze entirely. He listened in absolute, horrified disbelief as his new wife’s voice boomed through the massive speakers, calmly detailing the brutal, premeditated murder of her own sister.

Inside the private portrait room, the Cameraman stopped adjusting his tripod, his jaw dropping open as he heard the horrifying confession broadcasting from the very tablet attached to his own camera setup.

The Bride’s bright, radiant smile completely vanished in a fraction of a second.

The color entirely drained from her face, turning chalk white as she stared in sheer, unadulterated terror at the live-feed tablet. She whipped her head around, her eyes locking onto seven-year-old Lucas with a look of pure, murderous psychosis.

"You..." the Bride choked out, her voice entirely stripped of its sweetness, transforming into a feral, desperate snarl. She lunged forward with her bare hands, completely abandoning her bridal elegance, fully intending to strangle the seven-year-old boy right there in front of the camera.
