Chapter 1 - The Torn Shirt

The luxury beach club was bathed in the warm, golden lighting of a cinematic sunset. Crashing ocean waves provided a beautiful backdrop to the elegant, white-linen tables set up directly on the sand. The club was entirely rented out for a highly exclusive, high-ranking Navy officers' gala.

But near the center of the elegant party, a vicious, deeply humiliating attack was unfolding.

Harper, a woman in her late twenties with messy dark hair, was working as a catering server. She wore standard black trousers and a light blue button-down shirt. She was quietly balancing a heavy silver tray of champagne glasses.

Suddenly, Chloe, a wealthy, arrogant socialite wearing a stunning gold evening gown, violently grabbed the collar of Harper’s light blue shirt.

Chloe wasn't just a guest. She was Harper’s former high school bully, and she had just recognized the quiet server passing out drinks.

With a vicious, unhinged yank, Chloe aggressively ripped Harper’s shirt wide open down the back, completely destroying the thin fabric.

"Tell them why you really vanished after graduation, coward!" Chloe shrieked loudly, her voice echoing over the crashing waves.

The fabric tore away, violently exposing Harper’s bare back to the crowd of elite Navy officers.
