Chapter 7 - The Locked Doors

“Lock down the estate,” Daniel commanded smoothly, not even raising his voice.

Instantly, six massive, heavily armed private security contractors stepped out from the shadows of the mansion’s corridors. They intercepted Victoria before she could even reach the heavy oak doors, grabbing her arms and violently hauling her backward.

“Get your hands off me!” Victoria shrieked like a banshee, thrashing wildly. Her elaborate bridal updo collapsed, sending sparkling crystal accessories clattering against the marble floor.

Daniel gently handed Lily to his most trusted bodyguard. “Take her to my private office. Lock the door. Do not let anyone inside.”

Once Lily was safely out of the room, Daniel slowly walked toward the struggling, weeping bride.

“Daniel, they set me up!” Victoria screamed, completely abandoning her glamorous facade. “My father made me do it! His company was going bankrupt! He told me to get rid of Sarah so I could marry you and save our family! It wasn't my idea!”

Daniel stopped exactly two feet in front of her. He looked down at the pathetic monster weeping in the luxurious white dress.

“You paid a man to cut my wife’s brakes,” Daniel whispered, his deep voice vibrating with absolute, demonic doom. “You kept her wedding ring as a trophy. And you planned to murder my little girl.”

“I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!” Victoria wailed, falling to her knees on the marble floor.

👉 Daniel didn't accept her apology; instead, he pulled out his own phone to execute the most brutal financial destruction imaginable.
